For Cinema Operators

We would love to work with you to bring Wesley to your town!

Basic information:

Wesley is a digital feature.  There are no plans at this time to produce 35mm prints of the film.  Non-digital venues, read the note below!  We can supply the feature on HD as a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) on Blu-Ray, or on DVD for specific situations.

LENGTH: 01:54

SOUNDTRACK: Dolby 5.1 encoded

A theatrical trailer for previews can also be supplied on HD as a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) on Blu-Ray, or on DVD as appropriate.

POSTERS (one-sheets) are 27"x 39" to fit standard movie poster display cases.

REQUIREMENTS

The auditorium must meet DCI standards for projection of a DCP, or it must meet the following standards for exhibition of a Blu-Ray or DVD version:

PROJECTION: The projector and screen must provide reflected white level illumination from the screen of at least 14 foot-lamberts.  To calculate foot-lamberts, divide the projector output in lumens by the screen area in square feet and multiply by the screen gain (a flat white wall has a gain of 1).  The movie is in 16:9 (1.77) format, projected "flat".  1920x1080 or 1280x720 resolutions are preferred, though XGA is acceptable if the projector provides the required brightness and contrast.

AUDIO: The auditorium must have surround sound, preferably Dolby Digital.  Exhibitors with DTS systems, please contact us to discuss the availability of a DTS encoded version.

NON-DIGITAL VENUES: Foundery Pictures can supply a 7K digital projection system as a loaner.  This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  Adjustment of split or rental will be necessary to offset the cost of shipping and use of the projector.

SCHEDULING: We typically need six to eight weeks of notice before the booking for proper publicity that will guarantee success of the screening.  We use an assertive grass-roots organized approach to PR rather than purchasing traditional media space.  Our promoter will contact churches in your area and recruit local volunteers who will in turn contact local radio and television stations.   Lead actors are often available to do phone interviews with local radio stations.
